The book takes the experiences and growth throughout the author's life, splits it into three sections, then shows that growth through his poems in each of those areas.The first offerings in each section are more elemental and are obviously not polished but as one reads on, each poem progresses in ability and depth, showing the growth of a person through the advancement of the poems.
All of the poems show incredible promise and some show true beauty and depth. It will be interesting to see how this author continues in his journey, both in life and in writing.

This book was quite a nice surprise. I like how the author mixed essays with his heartfelt poetry...very touching and thoughtful. I will definitely look forward to reading more work by this author in the future.
Wonderful mix of poetry. Some poems were very thought provoking while others were easy to relate too. Very promising start for the author.
This book is an intriguing look into a young man’s life through his poetry. The author is quite transparent with his feelings. His words are heartfelt and raw. At times, I felt like I was reading more than just a book of poems. It was as if he was letting me inside his private journal. A promising start for a young author!
I loved this book of poems. It is written from the heart and what life is about from a young boy of 12 to 24. He puts his thoughts and feelings into words that keep the reader into the written word. I see the development of a young man and his thoughts and life experiences as he grows. He sees the world around him and elequently puts it in the written word. Good job!
