South Beach Miami Florida has come full circle into the place for tourist, movie stars, professional athletes and locals to party. Coincidence, this area is the United States mainland point for the Bermuda Triangle. Do we totally know what is under the oceans which cover approximately two-thirds of the world or are there forces existing our species has not discovered? Having been raised on the coast of Florida, the ocean will always be a passion that brings adventure and freedom. Fishing, surfing, water skiing, diving and general boating skills have led to many wonderful memories. My father was raised in Cuba and has caught many large marlins by hand with ropes as Hemingway wrote about in his famous novel, “The Old Man and The Sea”. I fished the waters off Miami with my dad since I could walk until his death. Going fishing with him always felt like you were safe and in good hands. I have tried to pass the love of nature on to my children and now have decided to write fictional short stories with a flair of realism. I love animals and presently have three dogs which we rescued from their demise on death row (county animal control). Lifelong friendships and watching the changes in their lives accompanied with the responsibilities having supervised trained professions, counseling and conflict resolution brought many different perspectives of human nature. As a volunteer for several charities and mentoring high school students, it is obvious the benefits of helping others.
